- Leadbetter - The Digital Revolution: the Coming Crisis of the Creative Class - Charles Leadbetter's response to Digital Britain. "Universal broadband will be essential infrastructure for the UK’s future. But even more important will be the creativity and innovation of consumers and entrepreneurs to create the social and business models of the future. Sadly Digital Britain has little or nothing to say about these latter challenges. It is a route map to the future which peters out after the first few metres."

- 4iP | What do you think of my proposal and why hasn’t Dan Heaf got back to me? - "the ‘hit-rate’ is running at about three percent of ideas submitted are getting funding approval. I dont know what you all expected, but we’re pretty happy with this. Of course we’d like to commission more good ideas, but this figure is higher than the TV commissioning process and we really are only at the beginning of our 4iP journey."

- West Midlands to Advantage from Creative Leadership - Clumsy title aside this post on the Fierce Earth site indicates that Advantage West Midlands has stumped up to pay for someone to go on the Clore Leadership Programme thing. I'm not sure I understand the Clore thing. It's for future cultural leaders yet the alumni list seems really narrow, skewed towards the subsidised arts and cultural policy. Hopefully the AWM nominee will be focused on the Creative Industries. Applications through the Clore site.
